      Gajo Livestock is the first Halal platform for the sale and purchase for standard traceable products, veterinary services and ecosystem solution.

 

      Our products come in several forms: fresh, smoked and live, with free registration for all players in the livestock sector, accessible with or without a smartphone. You can program your purchases for the month and the year using our e-wallet system, with free delivery in 40 minutes depending on your location.

 

      Our Mission is to educate the population about standard traceable products, to raise awareness of the risks associated with poor nutrition and to offer business opportunities to the population (rural and urban). Our role is to supporting communities to create a sustainable future, increasing productivity in an unique biodiversity system. 

 

      Our objective is to help producers in rural areas, to create a Producer – Buyer connection using innovative technology to encourage women and young people to be self-sufficient through the practice of livestock farming, and to standardized the production system. All with an objective to establishing “food safety” in close collaboration with the veterinary services to protect both people and the planet. 

 

Our achievements:

– Training seminars for women and young people in urban and rural areas on new technologies to make them self-sufficient;

– Award for Excellence in technological innovation for livestock farming in Chad;

– Four Awards nomination in Turkey by the Global Startup Awards;

– Our promoter was selected as one of the 40 young entrepreneurs making impact on our country’s economy and was published in Cameroon CEO Magazine;

– We have been selected as one of 25 project leaders for the Central region by “The Parliamentary Entreprenariat Private Network”

– Representation of Cameroon in Morocco for the “Trophée de l’Africanité Foundation”.

About the Founder:

Passionate about livestock farming since 2006, young entrepreneur FOTSO NGASSA decided to revolutionize the sector. So he decided to make all organic and eco-responsible livestock products available through Gajo Fresh Meat. A professional establishment created to satisfy the many demands expressed by housewives on the Cameroonian market.

A small office, a garage for storage, many challenges… And a few months later, entrepreneur FOTSO NGASSA set up his own central butchery (which supplied more than 9 shops daily) with more than 38 permanent employees, 30 trainees and several wholesalers. 

In 2018, following a land dispute that he was unable to win, FOTSO NGASSA experienced the destruction of his butchery centers. This automatically led to the closure of his shops, the cessation of his activities and the dismissal of his employees. It’s a heavy blow for this young entrepreneur, who has seen years of hard work go up in smoke.

 

In pursuit of his major objective of solving an ecosystem problem: food security, in 2022 entrepreneur FOTSO NGASSA has set up an innovative and impactful solution called GAJO LIVESTOCK.
